A brief introduction about us: We are from Team Globalart imparting creative art for students in the age group of 5 to 15 years. Every year we take a group of our students on a study tour to learn about nature and its resources. This year we joined hands with Heritage Inspired to take our students on a day long 200 km trip to learn about NEIDHAL (Coastal Line). A big thanks to team HERITAGE INSPIRED for arranging this tour. Every aspect right from start to finish was meticulously planned - the wonderful comfortable AC bus (the driver took extra care since we had small kids), the timely start of the tour, all arrangements on the way. A big compliment on the food arrangement. A wonderful step by step guidance by Mr.Augustus well supported by Mr.Raj and Ms.Bhuvana. Their in-depth knowledge about the subject was fantastic and it was a great eye opener for all of us. Also the children were thrilled to see flamingos through the bird watching scope which was arranged. Over all it was a fantastic trip full of live learning (we learnt about NEIDHAL only in our text books). We will definitely connect with you in the future for more such trips. Thank you Heritage inspired for this wonderful Hoysala chapter and thanks to the entire cohort for being lovely companions on the yatra. Travelling to Halebeedu, Somnathpur and Belur and looking at the structures of temples was an unforgettable experience. The temples of Govindanahally and Hosaholalu were a sight to behold. Meeting Swami sir was also special and the way he explained the iconography is an inspiration to delve more into the subject and understand the intricacies of the ancient Hindu temple architecture and history. Special thanks to Anand sir and Subbu sir to make sure the trip went as per plan and set right anything that came as an unplanned hurdle. You were amazing. The 'Jewels of Hoysala,' organized by Heritage Inspired (recipients of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Awards 2024 for Best Niche Tourism Operator) from 27th to 29th December 2024, whisked us away on a magical journey to the land of the Hoysalas. We explored some of their architectural masterpieces, including Somnathapura, Belur, and Halebidu, to name a few.
